First Trinity Academy Praise Dance Team Uplifts Hearts with Kirk Franklin’s “The Lamb of God” and “Jesus is The Reason For The Season”
As the last day of school approached on December 19th, 2023, excitement filled the sanctuary of First Trinity Academy Students eagerly anticipated the upcoming Christmas holidays, but before the break began, there was one final event that would leave a lasting impression: the school performance by the First Trinity Academy (FTA) Praise Dance Team.
Under the direction of their dedicated instructors, Ms. Gowens and Ms. Muldrow, the Praise Dance Team had been diligently preparing for this moment, pouring their hearts and souls into their choreography and movements. And as the day arrived they were ready to shine.
The performance took place at the school in Mt Calvary’s Baptist Church sanctuary, Parent’s family members, and friends filled the seats eager to support their gifted students.
As the music of Kirk Franklin’s “The Lamb of God” filled the air, anticipation built among the audience. Then, like angels descending from heaven, the Praise Dance Team took the stage, dressed in pristine white leotards, skirts, and tights.
From the moment they began to move, it was clear that this was more than just a dance - it was a spiritual journey. Each step and each gesture is imbued with meaning, a testament to the girls’ faith and dedication.
As they danced, their movements flowed seamlessly with the music, conveying the message of hope and salvation embodied in Franklin’s powerful lyrics. Every leap, and every turn was executed with precision and grace, captivating the audience and stirring hearts.
Watching the Praise Dance Team in action was a truly transcendent experience. Their performance was a reminder of the true meaning of Christmas, a celebration of love, joy, and the gift of salvation.
